We use the personal data we collect primarily to fulfill our contracts with our customers and business partners, particularly in connection with our purpose as an association for active participation in cultural, sporting, artistic and culinary life in Eastern Switzerland.
In addition, we process data for:
Communication with third parties.
Advertising and marketing (including newsletters), provided you have not objected to the use of your data.
Ensuring our operations, in particular our IT and our website.
5. Cookies, tracking and other technologies
We typically use ‘cookies’ on our websites to identify your browser or device.
Newsletter: Some of our marketing emails contain image elements that allow us to determine whether and when you have opened an email in order to better tailor our offers to you. By agreeing to receive newsletters, you consent to the use of this technology.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland (based in Ireland), to evaluate the use of the website. We have configured the service so that IP addresses are truncated before being forwarded to the United States.
Social media: We use plug-ins from social networks such as Instagram. These are disabled by default and are only activated when you click on them.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We also disclose data to third parties in the course of our business activities. These include in particular:

To provide some of our products, we partner with Gelato (Gelato ASA, Norway). When you place an order, the necessary details (specifically your name, shipping address, and the products ordered) are automatically transmitted to Gelato via a secure interface.
Gelato uses this information solely to produce and ship your order through their global network of local print partners. Depending on your location, your data may be processed in countries outside of Switzerland or the EU. Gelato ensures data protection through standard contractual clauses and high security standards. You can find more details in Gelato’s Privacy Policy.

When you place an order, WooCommerce collects personal data such as your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. This data is necessary to process your order, manage your account, and communicate with you regarding your purchase. This data is stored on our secure servers [mention where your website is hosted, e.g., Hostpoint, Cyon, etc.].
7. Duration of storage
We store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations or the purposes pursued. As soon as the data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
